Shanling Audio SCD-T200 - Audiophile Tube CD Player

While the Shanling players have always looked exotic and hi-end, it is the sound that really gets your attention.  This is not just some fancy looking CD player.  The sound of the tube output is filled with layers of detail, but lacking that digital edge that makes CD's sound digital.  The SCD-200 breathes life into the full spectrum of sound, from very controlled low end, to luxurious mids and wide open and airy highs.  Imagine the $6K Sony SACD-1 with a tube output stage.  This is it. 
 
Owners love this player since at its price it sounds better than many more expensive players.  Its an attention getter and conversation piece for sure.
A number of owners have found replacing the stock 6N3's with Western Electric 396A's has been a huge upgrade in sound quality.  We have not tried it but we'll  leave that for the new owner to experience. 
 
The SCD-T200 can also be used to directly feed a power amplifier using its variable outputs and remote volume control. 
 
Player operates perfectly.  There is a small chip on one of the transformers (about 2mm x 2mm and can easily be touched up), and a few light scratches on the leg caps, but otherwise it looks great.  This unit is silver brushed aluminum with the gold accents.
 
Includes the original box, packing, remote control, power cord and manual.
