The BEAT 400 Plus CD player conveys the artists original intent without mechanically getting in the way of the music!
Some affordable CD players make reproduced music sound exciting and "crisply new" all the time. Great for the initial store demo but ultimately tiring on the ears...
Some players sound dark and slow in their attempt to convey emotional warmth and texture, which in truth, sounds dirty and "fuzzy" when compared to no-holds-barred mega playback systems!
Regarding the BEAT 400 PLUS, the overall sonic characteristic led some reviewers to state that "...the BEAT CD player is more musical than some high-end turntables!"
