Exemplar Oppo BDP-83 SE

I am the original owner of this very lightly used Exemplar Audio modified Oppo CD/Blu Ray player.  I have all of the original accessories that go with it, most are still in their original wrapping and are unused as you can see from the photo.  The remote still has the original batteries.  John Tucker extensively reworked the audio portion of these players upgrading the analog output op amps and rebiasing them to Class A.  The power supply was rebuilt using a bigger power transformer,  polypropylene caps, proprietary pre-regulators and relay control circuitry to maintain the standby operation. 

Proprietary regulators were also added to the analog output stages fed by the new power supply and additional isolation added.  The electrolytic coupling capacitors were removed and replaced with higher quality Polypropylene Caps designed specifically for audio performance.

There were other modifications to the digital and analog power supplies to the DAC chip further improving the noise isolation.  If you are familiar with Tucker's Mods you know the quality of work that he does.  Rated 8/10 but I see no scratches, discoloration or marks that would disqualify it from a 9/10.
