It is no surprise that the emphasis is on sound quality, it's video performance is a bonus. The video circuitry may be turned off from the front panel. You will be absolutely dumbfounded/astonished by the performance of this player. The soundstage is simply massive, the entire orchestra from stage left the stage right is in front of you. instruments sound true to life, and more vivid. Needless to say, instruments sound more natural than players I've had costing 10 times the price. The remote control I believe may have been used a total of 2 or 3 times at the very most. It's perfectly in mint condition or as brand-new.
