Up for sale is an excellent example of a Mark Levinson No. 39 CD Processor. I’m selling it for my late friend Randy’s family. Randy purchased several different CD players and connected them through a Belles 21A preamplifier before ultimately settling on the Levinson No. 39. The No. 39 can be operated as an integrated unit containing a built in preamp with a remote control for volume control and input switching. He ran this straight into a couple of different amplifiers but mostly into a Mark Levinson No. 332. There were only two components in the audio system with this setup, and I’d have to say that this was a very good sounding combination. For testing purposes, I just recently hooked it up to give a listen and was immediately impressed by the sound. Physically, it’s in very good shape as well. The face is perfect. The CD drawer operates smoothly and quietly. There are some very minor imperfections in the black color of the brushed metal case on the top of the unit. Other than that, it could just about pass as new. And the remote control works flawlessly as well.
The Levinson No.332 as well as a pair of Martin Logan Quests will soon be available …
