An award-winning player, the CD-30 is the flagship in MicroMega's line and for good reason.
It's ability to render and flesh out a digital recording is remarkable. Case in point, we used
an older MicroMega player as a transport and ran the signal through a DAC circuit in a
$5500 integrated amplifier and compared the two and we had to give the nod to the CD-30 in
terms of presence and realism. The unit itself has less than 100 hours of use so it is akin to
NOS in spite of its purchase in the Spring of 2013. Ironically, the main reason for the sale is
that all the other components are black and the CD-30 is....silver! We even have the while
handling gloves in the box. A grand opportunity for a lucky listener.
