IT USED THE MOST EXPENSIVE PARTS AVAILABLE AT THAT TIME, THIS PARTICULAR UNIT HAS JUST BEEN SERVICED BY A VETERAN AUDIO TECH. THE CONTACTS WERE DEOXIDIZED TRANSPORT ALIGNED AND LUBRICATED, LENS SCIENTIFICALLY CLEANED. IT IS BUILT LIKE A TANK AND WEIGHS AS MUCH. OWNERS SELDOM SELL THESE UNITS. IT has multiple controls and abilities not usually found on most cd players.
