Sony NS-900v modified sacd/cd player

This was a stand out dvd/sacd/cd player in its day. About 15 yrs ago I believe. Rave reviews and chosen by TRL in Washington state as a top candidate for there mod package. The usual $750. worth of tweaks. They told me it would not function again as a dvd since most video circuit would be removed. Unfortunately that incuded UIG circutry which neutralized many of the remote functions including the ability to switch between sacd and cd tracks for hybrids. The sacd indicator light only comes on when a single layer sacd is used. It doesnt select the sacd layer of a hybrid on its own.

So I am selling an excellent sounding player that plays Cd's and single layer sacd's.
Ive got $1500. into it. Still looks good and is a hefty well made unit. I boxed it before I could take photos. The front of this one is very clean with some light scuffs on top.
Much less than most 15 year old Players. The value is in the circuitry but you wont be
disappointed by the looks. The color is black.
