I can only see one major scratch on the cover over the cd loading deck. Absolutely perfect operating condition , never used very much by me or previous owner.

I am a Mechanical Engineer and am giving it a 7 out of 10 because if you look very very close, under a bright light you can see some minor marks. A bit of a 'light hazy scratches' in a few areas but not visible unless under bright light I don't consider them major since they don't show up under normal viewing conditions or in a photo. I am using a Nikon D5000 with perfect Nikkor optics so great photos.

As far as I am concerned , unit looks amazing for this age. Unit was never mishandled nor abused in any way. Front of unit is perfect.

Under normal viewing conditions you can only see ONE MAJOR scratch. There is a small nick on the right side of the CD loader cover.

I have tested it extensively this week and perfect. One of the finest SACD and CD players on the planet. Amazing CD Transport if that is what you want.

I don't have children or pets so was in a perfect operating environment. Unit will be double boxed for shipping to guarantee no damage.

Essentially the same as SCD-1 Sony's flagship SACD player except there is a different power supply. Price includes excellent packaging and shipping within USA and Canada.
