Basic unit has been used very little and is unmarked. I would guess less than 50 hours. I bought new a few years back but have had it in storage most of the time. Original box in good shape/unmarked. Can double box if required. Remote is basic plastic Wadia unit: not the optional deluxe aluminum device. I have had hearing loss and cannot use this wonderful machine to its fullest. Shipping weight is 55 pounds! (Like a big Macintosh amp). Unit itself is 49 pounds. So be prepared for significant shipping charges. I will warranty for a very short period to protect against shipping damage, but will not accept returns for other reasons; therefore as/is. I am not a dealer. Payment by cashier's cheque or wire (wire preferred), or cash if picking up here. This is a standard unit, without the digital I/O factory boards available. I use the analog RCA jack outputs to my simple preamp. I understand there are exciting 3rd party upgrades available, but recommend you listen first; the imaging is very clear and live. I am not an audio engineer, nor do I want to be. When researching this buy I wanted the best and could afford it, but really didn't want the hassle of matching transports and decoders and special amp circuits. Plus I like the flexibility of my preamp. This has worked well. The 861 has a very clean preamp capability that allows connection directly to the main amplifier(s), and results are perfect, though I could not see a way to avoid a separate preamp to bi-amp my speakers. Some kind of splitter I suppose but then you pollute the circuits; know what I mean? Too complicated for a civilian like me. Call or write if interested. Tele: (940) 217-9438
