Yamaha CDS 2000 CD/SACD player

Bought new from an authorized dealer. Just under 2 years old. I am the original owner. Black finish. I have had a lot of expensive cd/sacd players over the last few years (Playback Designs, Audio Research cd7 and cd8) and I'm not saying that this player is as good as those but it comes closer than may think. Unbelievably musical. Yamaha makes their own transport (metal drawer, not plastic) and it's just built very nicely. I have never had any issues whatsoever either mechanically or cosmetically. This unit has recently been discontinued and the replacement (cds2100) no longer uses the Burr Brown chip set which a lot of people feel is the reason the player is so musical. From what I understand, that chip was much more expensive to build than the more commonly used Sabre chips that a lot of manufacturers are now using. I am pretty sure Burr Brown stopped making that chip because it was extremely expensive to make. I have the original box and packing and remote and manual. Digital output. Would make a nice transport if you have a nice dac. Will ship to lower 48 states only. No shipping out of the country. Buyer pays all shipping and insurance. PayPal please add 3%.
