CHOPIN: Scherzos
Written and published in four separate opus numbers by Frederic Chopin, this release was recorded March 25 and 26, 1959 by RCA Victor in New York’s Manhattan Center. Bringing together these four important piano works into one dynamic collection, it was the final time Rubinstein recorded these essential works from the Chopin discography. Known by the fast dramatic pace of the music, these Chopin Scherzos are best loved for their beautiful musical style. Rubinstein, a keyboard prodigy, realizes Chopin’s spirit in these compositions as remastered with care from the original master tapes by JVC in XRCD24 Super Analogue.
