Folks, there are a number of “Heavy Hitters” in this group, including several TAS Superdisc Titles. Everything is of Audiophile Quality Sound, and these are in Like-New, Crisp, Clean condition! Just look how clean and crisp the spines are! These handsome copies will look good on your record shelf, too. There are 22 titles and 27 LPs.

Some of the highlights:

—Rachmaninov “Symphony #3”, with Andre Previn and the London Symphony Orchestra in a totally STUNNING recording, which is why this is also a TAS Superdisc title!. Original UK EMI pressing in extraordinary condition.

—Four Assorted London Phase 4 titles; these are Arthur Lilley recordings with huge soundstages, and come in deluxe laminated gatefold jackets. These are the buxom blond movie stars of the Classical LP world. Just lovely!

—Vaughan Williams “Tone Poems”, with Sir Adrian Boult and the New Philharmonia and London Symphony Orchestras. Part of that amazing Boult/Vaughan Williams cycle from the 1960’s, this LP gathers the various Tone Poems that were recorded with the Symphonies over various releases. You can easily hear why this series became TAS Superdisc titles. A clean, crisp, Like-New copy!

—George Crumb “Ancient Voices of Children”. A TAS Superdisc title, this is a SEALED COPY!!!

—Three Mahler Box Sets (Syms. #5, #6, #7), with Sir Georg Solti and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra; they are truly STUNNING recordings by Kenneth Wilkinson, Decca’s premier engineer. These are crisp, clean copies, too. 3 Box Sets, 6 LPs.

—Liszt “Piano Concertos #1 & #2”, with Sviatoslav Richter (Piano) and Kyril Kondrashin with the London Symphony Orchestra, in what is probably one of the most famous performances of these works ever put on vinyl. A Totally Stunning recording, this is the original Philips issue in amazing shape!

And the stuff I didn’t write about is just as wonderful, and there are going to be many amazing moments as you explore; these are solid titles with world-class sound covering a variety of styles and periods; everything here received 3 stars in The Penguin Stereo Record Guide, along with TAS Superdisc Status.
