Audiophile: 33 Classical LPs, TAS, Mercury, Philips, RCA, DG, London Phase 4, Mostly Near Mint, Great Price! HEY EVERYBODY: THIS IS A TOTALLY GREAT BLOWOUT PRICE!!! Folks, here’s another well rounded collection of beauties with Audiophile Quality Sound in Very Good Plus to Near Mint condition, at a rather painless price, with excellent to superb reputations, all at an excellent asking price. There are 29 titles and 33 LPs. Some of the highlights: —Beethoven “Symphony #4”; Wagner “Siegfried Idyll”, with Pierre Monteux and The London Symphony Orchestra in a killer recording by Decca for RCA; this is the 1960’s “Plum Label” issue! —Vaughan Williams “Symphony #9”, with Sir Adrian Boult and The London Philharmonic Orchestra; Boult recorded this twice, and many feel this earlier reading is the better one; magnificent recording, and this is the early 1960’s pressing. —“The Fantasy World of Bernard Herrmann”; absolutely killer recording of some of Herrmann’s most memorable music, this is also a TAS Superdisc title! —Virgil Fox “The Fox Touch, Vol. 2”; a Direct-to-Disc recording, vol. 1 was a TAS Superdisc title, and Vol. 2 sounds just as good. —Prokofiev “The Stone Flower”; this is the rare complete version, which takes up 3 entire LPs, and comes in an attractive package; this is the only copy I have ever seen. 3 LP Box Set. —“The Music of Leroy Anderson Vol. 3”, this is an original Mercury; Vol 1 was a TAS Superdisc title. —Ravel “Bolero; Mother Goose Ballet”, with Pierre Monteux and The London Symphony Orchestra, this is some of the most elegant and beautiful music ever put on vinyl. Lovely, gorgeous, and spacious Philips recording, this is a like-new copy! And the stuff I didn’t write about is just as wonderful; these are solid titles with world-class sound covering a variety of styles and periods. I have photographed the spines to give you a very clear idea of what’s here. Shipping will be $14 via USPS Media Rate with Tracking. International Customers: I am happy to ship to your country; cost is $150 via USPS Priority with Tracking.
