Westminster was considered to be the Mobile Fidelity of the 1950s, and produced outstanding recordings that were the yardstick for every other major label of the period, including Mercury.
Not so well known is that Westminster also issued Stereo versions of a handful of their releases, so an opportunity like this comes along once in a lifetime! These were owned by a fussy classical musician who took care of his stuff, and I can’t tell you how rare Stereo versions of these titles are, especially in this kind of condition! Of special note here is the Stereo version of Tchaikovsky's “Violin Concerto” with Erica Morini, which often fetches $200, so my asking price of $275 for the group should seem a bargain.
