This is an RCA "Shaded Dog" Living Stereo recording from 1962. The RCA "Dogs" are considered to be of true Audiophile quality. This recording is no exception.

This is a very early pressing with 2S/3S as part of the Matrix.

A very detailed recording. The soundstage is wide and deep with pin-point imaging.Instruments are captured with tremendous detail - you can hear the resin on the bows and the intonation of various stringed instruments. Deep bass, a sweet mid-range and transparent high's. One of the most natural and realistic recordings of an orchestra.
Hardly any surface noise - just the occassional low-level, random "tick/crackle".
