The MOD Series v.2 Audio Rack is a modular system that employs resonance dampening within its fine hardwood exterior. The heart of the system lies within the inner core of the shelves. The shelves arrive pre-loaded with a mixture of lead, clay, and sand, materials which were selected for their mass-loading and low-resonant properties.

Our audio racks will enhance the aesthetics of your media room while stimulating your aural senses. Place your active components on a platform that will enable them to perform at their best.

Our unique design features removable aluminum clad covers, allowing the user to fill the chambers with materials of their choosing. However, after years of market research and experimentation, we found that the blend of 45% lead and 55% sand/clay provides the best dampening results. Residual vibration caused by transformers and motors are efficiently drained to ground much like a mechanical diode through the solid hardwood legs and stainless steel spikes.

Lead and aluminum were also selected for their shielding properties, preventing unwanted transfer of EMI (Electro-Magnetic Interference) and RF (Radio Frequency) bleed from component to component.
