I am selling My counterpoint pre-amp not because I have found something that sounds better, but because I cannot tolerate the complete lack of customer service, lousy attitude and technical ineptitude that I feel I have experienced from alta vista audio (the same folks behind aria audio). After multiple upgrades I feel the unit sounds much worse than before the modifications were performed, and I feel that all my concerns were ignored or brushed aside. Micheal Elliots actions indicate to me he is unwilling to correct the deficiencies the unit presents an so I am selling to someone else that wants to deal with him. The unit is being sold AS IS and will include shipping within the continental US.
