I am selling my speaker system due to a relocation to a small DC apartment. Please see my other ads for my WAVAC 300B amplifier and my DeVore Gibbon 8.
For your consideration in this ad is a very nice build of the great Joseph Emilia 76 tube linestage. 6SN7 Direct Coupled to 76 tubes, with angela paper-in-oil capacitors for output coupling.
This build features premium parts throughout: 4 (!) huge Angela Instruments paper-in-oil PS capacitors, Angela Paper-in-oil coupling caps, Allen Bradley carbon comp resistors, dual Alps Blue velvet volume potentiometers, large chokes, even an analogue meter.
Please see the photos - this is not a commercial design and it does not look the part, either. It sounds spectacular and has that unique Industrial DIY look that I tend to love, with big-ass caps and chokes sticking out all over the chassis.
Includes a full set of tubes, nothing fancy. National Union 76's, a Sovtek 6SN7, and a JJ rectifier.
Buyer is responsible for the cost of shipping, FOB Charlottesville, VA. The pre-amp will ship in two boxes (maybe 3 if a small one is needed for the tubes). Paypal please add 3.1%.
Please do not hesitate to ask any questions, ask for more pictures, or to make an offer.
