Audio Research DAC 8 is in excellent condition. No scratches, looks new, performs like new. This Dac8 has been in my system for about 2 years now and has worked flawlessly. I am selling because I am going to a reference Dac.The build quality and sound quality is great. Absolutely made things sound much better and very smooth and easy on the ears. One reviewer of this dac thought there was a tube in it because it sounded so good. It is solid state. worked great with my reference Audio Research mono amps and AR pre amp.
