This is a highly regarded DAC in many audiophile reviews. Personally, I like its sound very much. Unfortunately, after ripping through a bunch CDs, I couldn’t master the patient to finish the rest of my collection. So it has been setting there, and now for sale.
This unit is the 24/192 USB2.0 variant. Ayre can upgrade it to DSD spec.
DAC is in excellent condition, as you can see in the pics. I can detect only one tiny scratch on the right side panel and believe 8/10 is a conservative rating. Included with unit is a power cord. I will ship it in the original packaging.
