This is a world class high resolution 24/192 and DSD capable DAC with multiple digital inputs. It's a spectacular fully balanced analog preamp section with remote control volume. It's also a ridiculously good sounding fully balanced headphone amplifier with independent remote control volume. Yes, that's right, the preamp section coming off the DAC that would feed an amplifier for speaker listening is completely independent from the headphone amplifier driving your cans. There are two display readouts that sit side by side for the volume settings of the preamp and headamp. The remote control allows you to independently change the headphone volume control and the preamp volume control separately.

There are also proprietary connections built in that use BMC digital intelligent gain management, a volume and amplification control system that calibrates gain without dividing or downgrading the input signal. If you pair the PureDAC with other BMC devices such as the amazing new PureAMP, you can take advantage of this great feature.
