I am the original owner of this fantastic DAC, purchased new from Music Lovers in California a little over a year ago. I am selling only because I upgraded to a Series 2 a few weeks ago. As you probably know, the unit is upgradeable to a series 2 by Berkeley for $3500, so here's a chance to have the world's finest DAC at a substantially reduced price !
This unit is Serial Number 1069.
I was about to call this a 10/10, but on very careful inspection there is a single small area on the edge of one of the feet which looks like a factory imperfection - see photo. otherwise it looks mint and this was something I never noticed in all this time and that I doubt you would either.
I have been buying and selling on Audiogon for many years and have a excellent reputation, so you may purchase with full confidence. I'm happy to provide any requested documentation, etc... for a serious buyer. I would appreciate serious offers only.
