Berkeley Audio Design Alpha DAC Series 2: State Of The Art Digital Playback - Trades OK

You can spend a LOT more, but you may not be able to get any better. Don't take my word for it though. This is one of Robert Harley's (The Absolute Sound's Editor) DACs of choice for both CD and high-resolution sources. The Alpha DAC 2 also received the best D to A Converter rating in Computer Audiophile Suggested Hardware (CASH) List.
