Burson Audio HA-160D DAC Headphone Amp and Preamp

I am selling my used Burson Audio HA-160D DAC / Preamp / Headphone Amplifier.  This particular unit is designed for the USA (120 volt). 

I bought it new from Audio Advisor 4 or 5 years ago for a retail price of $1,000.  I've used it in my home office for years with no issues; but I've recently upgraded to the Benchmark DAC2 HGC so that I can listen to DSD files. 

The preamp features three (3) pairs of discrete analog inputs, two (2) digital inputs (USB and digital coaxial) and one (1) pair of RCA preamplifier outputs to send a signal to a power amplifier or to a set of self-amplified speakers. The headphone amplifier is quite good - it has two output plus - low and high - to be chosen based on the sensitivity of your headphones.  The USB input is 24-bit and 96 kHz. 

I used this with a set of Klipsch self-amplified speakers and also with a set of Sennheiser HD-650 headphones.  For inputs I connected my PC via the USB connection, my Sonos box via the digital coaxial connection, a tuner and my portable music player via two of the three analog inputs. 

The unit is in good condition sonically, but as you can see in the pictures, there are some minor scuffs and scratches in the finish.  It will ship double-boxed in the original packaging with the owner manual, power cord and all of the other supplied cables (USB, RCA analog, etc). 

It makes an excellent "stereo" for anybody who wants great music in their office, or for a a college-bound person who will want a nice DAC and headphone amp.
