Vu Jade Vu Jade Digital Audio Converter DHT DAC

It is a Direct Heated Triode design, discrete R2R not a chip based R2R. The DAC was part of the GT audio room at the capital audiofest that won best of show. It was paired up with a $27K Esoteric CDP that was used as the transport with the DAC.

It uses four tubes in the power supply and all ClarityCap film caps for storage with a huge transformer. Tubes in power supply are JJ GZ34, RCA 5651A, Cunningham CX-326, and Sovtek 6C45 PI. Tubes are a pair of Psvane Western Electric 101D-L Replica with V-CAP OIMP caps

This is an amazing red book dac and will compete with the best out there. Because I have a Vinnie Rossi LIO DHT w/2.0 DAC, I'm finding that with the Vu Jade it's a bit of overkill.

The DAC has a volume control to match gain with other components or use direct to amp. The cases are early versions and I would rate them a 7/10. However the power supply and dac are current, up to date parts and circuitry and was delivered to me in Spring of 2017.

Retail is $12,500 but because I got in early and the cases are not current, I'm asking $2999 plus shipping and PayPal. I will ship FedEx Ground to CONUS only and provide insurance and tracking.
