YES, this is the most recent 2013 Edition with the higher gain.
The ULN-2 ( Ultra Linear PSU ) is also availalble for an additional $ 250 and well worth it...
The ULN-2 PSU case can also power and house a Wyred4Sound uLink USB to Toslink converter ... this retails for $ 299 and can be included for half price of $ 150....OR a Wired4Sound Remedy Clock for an additional $ 300.
So for the price of a new Dual Core $ 999, you can have a near mint unit with the PSU upgrade and uLINK ( USB to Toslink Converter ) for the same price..
