I just took this in trade, excellent overall condition except the remote control has some scratches from use.  Images in this ad are of the actual EMM DAC2x for sale, taken in my
living room. 

Previous owner purchased this EMM DAC2x about 6 months ago from an authorized retailer (Perrotta Consulting).   Software is supposed to be up to date but in any case it's free, so new owner can avail themselves at no charge if need.

EMM confirmed via phone this is still a current model and I just reduced price from $7500.00 to $5500.00 because the EMM Optilink input (plastic) appears to be chipped or piece missing. 

I operated this DAC in my system, it plays perfectly with CD transport, music server via USB and also with fiber optic from movie player.   Also comes with a premium Kimber Cable AC cable (see photos).
