I purchased this unit new in 1998, it is in excellent condition & built like a tank & still sounds great. It sold for over 5K when new. The Entec Number Cruncher was designed by Demian Martin and built by Jerry Crosby, and Bob Crump . The Data Pump that was designed to go with the unit. And if you are interested, I also have a G&D Transforms UTP-1 – Ultimate Series Transport that was designed by Bob Crump and voiced with the Number Cruncher Model 1.1 in his effort to achieve analogue sound from a digital source [if you’re interested in the UTP-1 I have also listed it for sale also .
