This is the top of the line comet with the external power supply. This unit is truly a giant killer and plays standard red book all the way up to Dsd files. Exogal was founded by the core of Wadia digital and they use there own proprietary engineering instead of off the shelf dac chips. This unit must be heard to be appreciated! It can be run direct into an amplifier or simply as a standalone dac. Just google Exogal comet for the stellar reviews!
