I am the lucky owner of the marvellous sounding Vi DAC Tube.
After much deliberation, I have decided to sell this unit having 'upgraded' to a Luxman SACD player with inbuilt DAC. I am also selling a very nice Arcam SACD player elsewhere on Audiogon which follows my purchase of the Luxman. Such is the sound of this unit that I have considered holding on to it, but it doesn't make sense to do that either from a practical standpoint, or financially. I am therefore selling it with a good deal of misgiving. Somebody will get a superb DAC.
I got the unit in the middle of 2016, and it has been used lightly since then. The unit is as new, and is double boxed. It comes with the standard, dinky little Apple remote. I have two pairs of tubes which will come with the unit, a pair of Electro-Harmonix, which I think are fair to describe as adequate, plus a pair of very nice Siemens tubes which I paid quite a bit more for.
The unit is 230V. As far as I know the supply voltage can't be changed easily.
I am in Western Australia. Pick up is welcome, but I will also ship anywhere. I'll pay for Paypal, buyer pays for shipping.
