One owner Linn Majik DS originally purchased from us.  Customer upgraded to Akurate.  It is as near mint as  you can get for a pre-owned piece.  If you're reading this you know what an amazing player this is.  Only reason I am not rating it a 10 is because it's pre-owned.
Original box, manual and accessories are included.
If you pay my asking price I will include shipping to anywhere in the USA or Canada.

Questions for the seller
Well then you are the guy to ask! Naim CD5Si vs. the Majik DS? It was from Linn guys on the Linn forums. Seems open to debate? Everyone raves Oppo and it was garbage compared to Karik/Numerik and I was shocked, I "thought" in 15 years there would huge improvement. I did not like the Karik with all Linn system though. https://forums.linn.co.uk/bb/showthread.php?tid=22920&page=2 Might be looking for two digital front ends if the Karik is unrepairable. It is worth $900 towards new Majik? Thanks Jody Just do not want to move down.
It's tough to say which would be better. There are a lot of things that go into making a streaming player perform at its best. You have to have the right server (many will tell you that a NAS drive is fine but it's not), you have to rip the music properly, you have to have the proper network infrastructure, you have to use the right cables. Get all that right and it's amazing. Get one part wrong and it kinda falls flat, probably why some say that an Akurate didn't beat a Karik/Numerik. With a good CD player all you have to do is ditch the stock AC cord and use a good interconnect, end of story. I have a CD5si demo that I can sell you for CDN$1995 + GST and free shipping. Unfortunately Karik isn't worth anything to me towards a used piece, maybe towards something new, but I'm sure you could sell it on Audiogon.
What is the year of the Majik and any upgrades? Thanks Jody
Not sure, maybe 2012, 2013. No upgrades, none are/were available.
