Great DAC using the latest ESS ES9038PRO chip. Great balanced sound from bass to highs, and transparency and soundstage are both incredible.
Original owner, bought from Matrix USA not overseas. Have all items except manual, that is in softcopy (PDF). 8 rating may be conservative....

| is this unit firmware upgradable? there doesn't seem to be an ethernet connection? Hi, yes, DAC can be updated. Per the manual, firmware updates would be via the USB port. Thanks. |
