The Musical Fidelity A 3.24 24 bit Upsampling Digital to Analog converter

-Increase the word length of CD's to 24 bits
-Increase the sample rates to 96 kHz or 192 kHz (Standard CD's=16 bit/ 44.1 kHz  sample rate)
-Shift the resulting "digital noise and nasties" out of the delicate 20 Hz-22 kHz audio  band.
-Use less harsh analog filtration only on the out of band noise and...VOILA...you get a more fluid and dynamic presentation! UPSAMPLING!!!

(Well, that was a gross oversimplification...)

The easiest way to explain this:
Try making a smooth circle on an Etch-a-Sketch! Hundreds or thousands of tiny lines stair step their way around the space to create a smooth(er) curve or eventual arcs, all joined together.

Like a painting made of millions of dots, when viewed from afar...the OVERALL picture looks smooth and whole and...organic!
(All those little dots = Pointillism- Georges Seurat and Paul Signac)

By increasing available "information" mathematically and working on many many MANY more samples of the bits that represent or "trace" the analog original,  we are able to create many finer points of reference to create that elusive, perfectly smooth sine wave.

While most DAC's nowadays sound much more closer to real live music, this D/A converter performs as close to live music as you are going to get, FOR YOUR DOLLAR, in terms of "proper" resolution, dynamic ability and scale.

Are you STILL holding out for that sublime CLOCK and DAC from DCS to drop to below peanut pricing??? (STOP RIGHT NOW) (we have the DCS for sale also but it aint $ 375.00 !!!)

"...Don't throw away your player or discs...buying the A324 will be like buying a whole new CD library, for only $1195." (original MSRP) - Antony Michaelson / Musical Fidelity
