Naim Audio DAC-V1 DAC/preaamp/headphone amp, excellent [Template]

Naim DAC-V1 in excellent condition. Functions as a DAC, a digital preamp, and a Class-A headphone amp. Electronically and cosmetically excellent. First owner, purchased from authorized dealer in July 2015, used with care in a nonsmoking household.

The DAC-V1 is a perfect match with Naim’s NAP 100 power amp – see my other ad on Audiogon.

The built-in Class-A headphone amp easily drives my Sennheiser headphones (currently the HD 650, previously the HD 800).

Naim recently released a firmware update (installed) that makes the DAC-V1 DSD-compatible and able to play 64 and 128 files. According to Naim, “the upgrade required significant optimisation of the core DSP code which has also improved sound quality.”

Comes with the remote control, factory box, power cable, and Quick Start guide. (The complete manual is online.)
