Questions for the seller |
---|
Hello, what was the original build date for this DAC? Is the MKII upgrade a simple pc board swap or more involved?
Thanks. per Jeremy at PS Audio in Boulder, CO. This was 3/2010 build. I upgraded 2013 to MK II. Yes it is a board change out but it puts the DAC into to super high res file category: USB connection from server was max 96 PCM files now with MKII it is 24 bit/192 kHz PCM. There is a whole forum on PS Audio website about this file stuff. If you are into the idea of downloading some of the high res music files from companies such as HDtracks, you will be happy with this DAC |
