Sale or Trade for a high end turntable, this like-new Gungnir Multibit.
I purchased this Schiit Gumby on October 30. Around a month later, I started having a problem where the home theater preamp I was plugging it into suddenly seemed to not like it. The preamp would shut off when I put it into "Pure" mode, and I also noticed that the Gumby was making a bit of a popping noise when I switched inputs, which it didn't do before.
So, I sent it in for service. A few weeks later, I got it back with a clean bill of health, with a note saying they'd replaced the JFET and the servo, and that it checked out find and sounded great. The clean bill of health is included with the unit in the factory box. While it was gone, I bought a Yggdrasil. Honestly, I can't hear the difference, but i'm going to keep the Yggy.
This Gumby was in my third system so it has no more than 100 hours on it, at the absolute most. I can find no marks on it other than the smallest scratch on the bottom of the unit. It is indistinguishable from factory new as far as I can tell.
My price of one kilodollar is firm. I'll accept cash, postal Money Order, Paypal (add 3%), Bitcoin, Ethereum or Litecoin.
I'm also interested in trading for a turntable that would be a new major step up from my current Project Debut Carbon / Ortofon Bronze rig, and would consider trades+cash in either direction. My usaudiomart profile is rechsm and same on ebay (179). $35 flat-rate shipping in the US, or pickup in Montclair NJ. For a trade I could also meet in or around NYC.
USA buyers only.
