Audiozen Aedo Tube DAC

Audiozen, using the best technology solutions in the digital domain and in the analog one, dedicates its Reference Line to the more exigent audio enthusiasts.

Aedo includes all of this with its numerous peculiarities.

Digital Core: an excellent Cirrus Logic DAC, encased in a rugged aluminum enclosure, with a Custom Clock circuit designed to contain the jitter at extremely low levels, a Multi-Bit Delta Sigma Modulator with excellent dynamic range.

Warm Heart: an analog section that adopts a NOS 12AU7 (ECC82) double triode for each channel, to combine the transparency and accuracy of the Digital Corewith the typical "warmth" of the tubes.

ICCF

ICCF (Improved Cascode Cathode Follower) is the tube configuration developed in the Audiozen laboratories.

In every channel the first triode enclosed in the 12AU7 NOS tube is used as impedance adapter, making better the interfacing between Aedo and the preamplifier. The second triode polarize the entire circuit, linearizing output level and providing constant current. 

This configuration ensures an excellent control over the entire audio band, providing stability of operation and avoiding current fluctuations. So we will have all the benefits of the tubes, warmth, great scene, focus, along with transparency, consistency and fine detail.

All the passive components are top-notch: 1% tolerance metal film resistors, electrolytic capacitors stable up to 105° and fine ClarityCap polypropylene output capacitors.

Aedo is equipped with a separate Power Supply Unit that includes three toroidal transformers (one for the Digital Core and two for the tubes) with electronically stabilized circuits.
