Offer up for sale the rare David Berning TF10AH full function pre amp, the TF10 was one of the previous Stereophile reference pre amp used by the late J. Gordon Holt and this one is even equipped with the moving coil head amp (MC) that you can use it with your turntable.

It has 12 tubes!! I don't recall seeing any pre amp has that many tube other than the classic Audio Research SP10 and Conrad Johnson Premier 7. This pre amp is as musical and revealing as today's high end pre amp.

The TF10AH works perfectly but I have no way to test the moving coil head amp since I don't have a turntable. It has scratches on the top plate due to stacking and tube changing but otherwise very clean.

Asking $1100 for this rare find pre amp. Add 3% if paypal is utilized.

Questions for the seller
Hello. Is the phono section only for MC carts? Do you know what the gain is? Thanks, G.
I believe it will take MM too, but as far as the detail/gain, I have to go over the manual. The problem is I am not sure what I am looking at (I never owned a turntable. If thers is any specific thing you want me to look for, let me know.
do you ship to canada? thanks, ken
as long as you pay for the shipping, sure, I can ship it to Canada.
Hi, concerning the UPS Estimates, I got it Regards. Igor
I am sorry, I am not sure if I understand you got problem with the UPS estimate?
Hi, Do you how can we change the 110V TO 220V ? what would be the cost to send it over to 12110 Waldemar Houston TX 77 077 USA Regards Igor
I don't know how to do it but I imagine it should be very easy to change it to 220V, give David Berning at all and I am sure he will assist you. I talked to him before last year and he told me the TF10AH was a great piece especially the one I have that has the MC Phono. Shipping cost to you with insurance is about $40.
is there a switch or a jumper to convert it to 240V like in ZH 270
there is no switch to convert to 240V, I don't think any high end product will have that. But as far as jumper or some minor wiring, I think it may be. David Berning is able to answer that and he is certainly available to help.
