This strongly competed with Levenson in the late 70's and Dave still supports all product. Please go to DB systems and check this out- its amazing stuff. I'll gladly respond to e-mails with questions that you cannot find answers to on the db site.
Functions perfectly- some small scratches on top, face plate perfect, and slight purpleling on 5 of the 6 knobs- no idea why! If you are looking for a great preamp this one is, and is unique to boot. You probably will never see another for sale.
Been listening for the past two days very musical! Just cleaned pots and controls and noticed the Alps 50k blue velvet volume upgrade
