I am the second owner of Elgar+Purcell for nearly 2 years. Purchased from Audiophile Systems Limited. They are DCS authorize dealer in Indianapolis, Indiana. They used them as store demo for a while since they upgrade to new Scarlatti line in 2010.
Both of them are in mint condition, from a pet/smoke/kid free home. There is not any scratch, dent or any kind of damage on them. Every function works fine. Both of them come with original packing, manual, original cables(dual AES cables, 1394 cables, BNC cables for external clock, and power cables ), and a remote control. Please note that the Purcell is newest version with 1394 interface, supports up to 24/192. And elgar is not 1394 version and it only supports up to 24/96. But it supports dual AES.
I use Weiss INT202 D/D firewire interface to convert signal to AES, then feed into purcell. I don’t have box for INT202. I am the second owner of it for less than 1 year. Mint condition, works flawlessly, come with the original PSU. For the antelope OCX, I got manual and box. I am the second owner as well. Use it for only 3 months.
I found this combination has very high quality sound and flexibility. The sound is amazing. Most of time I hear music from my loss-less flac files which stored in my macbook. With them, computer files sound very close to the CDs in my system. The reason of selling is downgrading to single box CD/SACD player to afford new speakers. More picture is available upon request.
Here is the price list:
Elgar: $3000 （sold）
Antelope OCX clock: $900（sold）
We can negotiate the price if you buy (some of) them as a bundle.
