Decware Zen Triode Z-Stage Gain Stage

SALE PENDING. I used this little gem between my Eastern Electric DAC and the integrated amp. It provides so much more flexibility in tailoring or changing the sound to your liking. There is a switch that changes the voltages the tube sees. One setting has the sound a little more laid back while the other has a bit more dynamic jump. The gain control allows you to play with both the preamp, or integrated amp gain for yet another variable to adjusting the sonic presentation. I also used it as a preamp while I was trying out different amplifiers. My use with it was for adjusting the sound of the recording to my liking or just changing the sound of the system whenever I got bored. The stock tube was used but you can roll any number of other tubes for even more variety of changing the sound. I estimate the unit has about 600 hours on it and is in mint condition.
