Neotech NEVD-2001 is a pure silver digital cable designed to meet the 75 ohm spec of the SPDIF format. This is a great cable for linking your transport and DAC. The inner conductor is made with pure silver, the dielectrics used are foamed Polyethylene and microporous PTFE Teflon. This cable is triple shielded and uses two SP-OFC braided shields with a copper/mylar foil. When constructing with this cable, the inner braided shield is connected at both the source and load ends. The outer braid (shield) is connected only at the source end of the cable.
Neotech NEVD-2001 Deep Cryo Treated Digital Interconnect terminated with Deep Cryo Treated WBT-0102 Ag RCA connectors.
The WBT-0102 Ag RCA connectors we use are solid silver, low mass. Solder termination is done using a precision OK International MFR Cartridge System and Mundorf Supreme solder.
