Bi-Nomial is an XLR-based true-balanced cable that has been designed for digital music data transfer. It is superb when used as a conduit for "stacked" digital systems that use outboard clocking technology to ensure strict DAC performance. In thoses cases the outboard clocking component ("Master Clock") should be connected to the DAC via the Tron 75 Ohm coaxial cable, while the stream of data should be connected from the transport to the DAC via the BiNomial cable. Note: The BiNomial does not conform to the AES/EBU standard, however if you decide to try the BiNomial in place of a "proper" AES/EBU cable, and if you happen to decide that is sounds amazing (as we have)... we won't complain.
