"Dvorak composed this work in 1893; Anton Seidl conducted the premiere with the New York Philharmonic Society on December 16, 1893.
His most popular work from his time spent in America was the swan-song symphony he subtitled From the New World. Chauvinists among us still claim that its themes are either Amerindian or African-American, which Dvorak refuted in 1900" - AMG.
This is a true 1st Pressing with 1S/1S as part of the LP's Matrix.
This is an RCA "Shaded Dog" Living Stereo recording from 1959. The RCA "Dogs" are considered to be of true Audiophile quality.

Very dynamic with thundering Tympani's. Good stage depth. Overall warm tone with good detail.
Surface noise is audible as an intermittent "crackle" on most low-level passages. Pricing has been adusted to reflect this.
