Dynaudio Coutour T 2.5

Excellent example of Danish manufacturer Dynaudio’s legendary sound, build quality and attention to detail. Speakers are finished in a beautiful furniture-grade Birdseye Maple that has been extremely well cared for in a smoke free, pet free environment.

Grilles have been left on throughout their life, keeping all dust and contamination off of the sensitive tweeters. There are no marks or scratches on the cabinets at all. The only visible flaw is that since the grilles were left on, the exposed portions of the cabinet darkened somewhat, which is not visible with the grilles in place.

The Contour T series is an excellent range of speakers for home theater or two channel listening. They produce a neutral, non-fatiguing sound with the capability (when paired with a good amplifier) to handle the dynamic range of today’s challenging material.

Performance-wise, the speakers are flawless. They have never been abused, pushed hard, or had the cabinets opened and perform exactly as Dynaudio intended. Original boxes are included, however the original floor spikes and foam port plugs are not. Specifications follow.

The speakers are available to demo in San Francisco for serious parties on appointment. They are currently set up with a Bryston SP1 / 9BST, with a DVD / HDCD player and Rega Planar 3 (upon request). Bring some CD’s and vinyl!
