For Sale: EAD (Enlightened Audio Designs) Ultradisc 2000 CD Player. **This unit was just serviced and thoroughly tested by Greg Palma at Noble Electronics, and received a clean bill of health. They did preventative maintenance on the laser lens, inspected the transport, checked DC offsets, power supply, tracking, digital and analog out. The Ultradisc 2000 CD player was built with the smooth running Pioneer Stable Platter, HDCD capability, and the great sounding twin Burr Brown PCM63P "K" DAC chips. It has a very pure and warm sound. It is a beautiful player, with a Rowland-style cut silver faceplate. It's in great condition, with a few small scuffs, notably by the power button LED. LED works perfectly, but the plastic shield in front of the LED has cracked (only noticeable when close up). It displays beautifully and your eye does not go to the imperfections. I've had this displayed with my EAD Theatermaster and Powermaster 1000, and they all look stunning together. I am the original owner, and should note that in the 12 years I've had this player, I haven't had any problems with it. Also, we are local to Noble Electronics' shop, so if you would like to have any modifications done, we can arrange and deliver the unit to Noble for any mod work.
