The EAR 834P is a wonderful Phono section. The 834 P has all the magic you could ask for in a Phono Preamp.
Moving Coil cartridges go through Step up transformers so you get the voltage gain but no noise.
This is the quietest Tube Phono Preamp I have ever heard, dead silent.
The price is right $1795 in Basic Black or $2495 in Chrome, you do get better RCAs on the Chrome version.
You will find many reviews out there on the 834P some are very old and show the original lower prices from its introduction. It is worth much more than we are charging based on the beautiful sound it produces.
I'll even take your old phono stage in trade on it if you want to trade in your old phono stage.
I also have Ortofon and Dynavector cartridges to partner with the 834P
