For Sale: 1 demo pair of Edge NL Signature 1.2 monoblock amplifiers. 1.25 years old and in mint condition,these exceptional amps are the current top of the line from Edge. With 400w/ch in Edge's "Quasi" Class A, the NL Signature 1.2 is the current evolution from the "Special Edition" version which featured high-output transformers, balanced and single-ended inputs, special filtering capacitors and special output components previously available only on the Reference amplifier. The 1.2 adds a more sophisticated and accurate biasing system along with several component upgrades and refinements designed by Edge co-founder Steven Norber. These amps can drive most anything, sound great with a wide variety of speakers and run very cool to the touch. The amps are dealer demos, 1.25 years old and used in a single system. The NL Signature 1.2 amplifiers use a separate power supply for each half of the sine wave, two power supplies per chassis. Everything is built symmetrically -- even the internal wire lengths are the same. The NL Signature 1.2's feature 50 percent more output transistors than the other NL amps, thus cutting the output impedance by a factor of two.
