Up for sale is the award winning RP-1 Room Perfect Correction Processor. Conservatively rated 8/10 due to a small nick (SEE PHOTO) on top right rear.
This "Black Box" expands your existing music system with the most advanced room correction system on the market. It is implemented in such a way that you will always achieve the perfect result. No computer needed, no acoustic knowledge needed, no user input needed. Nothing is left to chance in the fully automated calibration process. However, for the advanced user there are plenty of challenges since the RP-1 is also a complete "Control Center" that allows you to build advanced multi-way passive or active speaker systems. This is possible due to the very powerful built-in DSP 'engine' which facilitates signal routing, creation of active crossovers delay settings etc. In fact Lyngdorf Audio believes the RP-1 is a true "Black Box" in the way that it sets new standards for what's possible to improve sonically in a music system. How old is this unit? Since I bi-amp my speakers, do you know if the RP-1 can handle 2 sets of amp outputs? I understand from reading the dagogo review that one way to connect the RP-1 is between preamp and amp, hence my question. Would it be advisable instead to hook it up to the tape in/out connections on my preamp?

Hi and sorry for the late response as I just got out of work. You can insert it in a tape loop but I would only recommend this method for full range stereo, if you have speakers and subs I would insert it between amp and pre-amp as it has 2 outputs and utilize the croosover, one can go to the amp and the other can feed powered subs. I don't know the exact age of this unit but I have had it close to a year and it was purchased from Sound Science-an authorized Lyngdorf dealer. The unit is mint and complete minus the small scuff shown on the photo. Hope this addresses your concerns and once again thanks for your interest in the RP-1.
